The Woodstock Bible Church supports several local ministries, keeping them in constant prayer and staying in contact so that we know how to best meet their needs.
Pregnancy Resource Center
Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) serves women and families who face unplanned pregnancy, providing them with a "safe, confidential, and judgement-free environment." Our church directly supports PRC through an annual baby bottle drive and by keeping them in constant prayer.
Oregon Food Bank
"A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." Proverbs 11:25
We participate in a Blue Barrel Food Drive for the Oregon Food Bank (OFB). The Barrel is placed at the entrance of our fellowship hall and delivered to OFB as soon as it is filled. God provides for us so that we can give even out of our need!
Angel Tree Prison Fellowship
Angel Tree strives to "meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the families of prisoners." During the month of December, we partner with Angel Tree to provide Christmas gifts to the children who have a parent in prison. Look out for the green Christmas tree during December to take part in this opportunity!
Portland Rescue Mission
Portland Rescue Mission hosts a variety of programs with the "commitment to breaking the cycle of homelessness, addiction, and despair in the lives of hurting people in need." We currently partner with Portland Rescue Mission to host an annual drive to help support them in their mission throughout the city.
PREP4Kids is a non-profit Christian outreach to children attending public schools in the greater-Portland area. Their mission is to "help students and their families find purpose and direction in life by using the Bible during legislated released-time religious education classes."
Our church hosts a weekday Bible class for students attending Woodstock, Creston, and Atkinson Elementary Schools. Visit PREP's site or call (503) 281-7764 for more information.
