We can be tempted to see our life as a series of arbitrary events. One of the most comforting (if not baffling) truths of the Bible is that God oversees every detail of the universe, and nothing happens beyond his knowledge or consent.

Peace and mutual edification – supporting one another. When was the last time you gathered with a group of people for a sustained period and those words were applicable? Ultimately one of the hallmarks of a healthy church is that its members can “disagree well” with each other.
‘The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart.’ God’s presence and truth are accessible because of Jesus. We don’t need to climb any mountain to find Him—He has come near, inviting us into His family through faith and confession that Jesus is Lord.
